Links
It seems these days that everyone put a page of links on their site. So, as you can see, I'm pretty normal, at least in this regard.
DicksonCatoHomes.com -- This is my day job.
LDS.org -- This is my church.
K5ER.com -- This is Mark's site. He's my contesting buddy. Thus the motto "K5ER and W5WZ - Putting NORTHEAST Louisiana on the contest map"
CivicEnterprises.com -- This is Mark's day job.
Twin City Ham Club -- The local general interest ham club in Ouachita Parish
ProvidentLiving.org -- Good advice for times of plenty and tough times too!
CONTESTING LINKS
Louisiana Contest Club -- While at Dayton 2008, several Louisiana contesters got together and have set in motion the creation of a Louisiana contesting group/club. The bylaws and constitution were signed by the charter members at the Leesville LA Hamfest on August 9, 2008. Keep your eyes to the line scores!

Louisiana contesters -- This is cool. I parsed the FCC database records for Louisiana callsigns against K5ZD's supercheck partial file, then geocoded the results. Here is the map of 136 Louisiana hams found in SCP as of 5/10/08. The yellow thumbtack marks the location of W5WZ. If you want, open this file using Google Earth to be able to zoom in and get more details about each location.
4 States Contesters - I took the theory above and mapped Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana contesters. Get a PDF of the map here, or download a file to import into Google Earth. |
