These are QSL cards received by me.  My call was KD5CAS from August 1997 until November 1999.  Since November 1999, my call has been W5WZ.

About W5WZ

1981 – Received world globe as gift from grandmother (age 10)
1982 – Read the entire World Book Encyclopedia during 5th grade
1983 – Introduced to ham radio as a Boy Scout (age 13)
1997 – Licensed as KD5CAS via elmer W5LA (age 26)
1998 – Bitten by contest bug at Field Day
– First solo contest in IARU
1999 – Upgraded to Extra
– Acquired vanity call W5WZ
– Installed first tower, 2-element quad for 10-12-15-17-20 meters
2005 – Moved to new QTH
2007 – Attended Dayton Hamvention for the first time
– Attended Contest Univeristy for the first time
2008 – Began building current station
– Co-founded Louisiana Contest Club
2010 – First M/M HP contest @ W5WZ in CQ WW SSB
2011 – First time guest operator @ K8AZ
2014 – Co-organizer for ARRL Centenial operation as W1AW/5
– Awarded ARRL Delta Division Ham of the Year
2017 – Co-organizer for NU1AW/5 in IARU Contest
